Wait weeks for appointments, don't do routine bloods and the like. Majority of staff nice enough but clearly have too many patients. Typical NHS GP surgery. Better than the other local one by far though!
To get a routine appointment you have to book two weeks in advance. Today I've been phoning for almost an hour and the line constantly engaged to find out if there are any cancellations. I'll no doubt be told I can wait for an emergency but that's not what you want with a two year old who is poorly.

I went in today 2nd Feb as had a chest infection and I have asthma, but am a visitor to the area. Was told they only had emergency appointments and I said I consider this an emergency.The receptionist then got the said paper work then....for some reason decided I couldn't be seen as it wasn't a walk in centre! She then directed me to 2 walk in centres . I then went to the chemist who advised me to see the doctor and directed me to lakeside surgery where I was seen very courteously and politely no problem. Was prescribed antibiotics and steroids.
