The location of this pub is excellent being next to a canal with views of the surrounding countryside. A good variety of the usual pub dishes but it's not as good as it used to be. The chicken tikka was just chicken with a tikka sauce..no onions or tomatoes, just a thin sauce. The service was poor..I had to ask 3 times for ketchup, I asked for no naan bread or chutney yet it arrived with both. The bill was incorrect too with no apology for overcharging me. Felt really disappointed as it was a much nicer experience a couple of years ago. Will not be returning there.
Good tasty food. Lovely decor/view. Kids meals good value. Will definitely come back.
Very rushed, even though we'd rang an sorted a table for three. When there they warned to stop serving. Would of been better if they had said they were stopping serving. Not a nice experience at all.

Meet with my brother here every Wednesday early doors. Generally we have the Senior Citizens menu which is good food, great value and generous portions. Very attentive staff and great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend for a drink or a meal.
