Charlie made us an amazing fig and armagnac wedding cake! She went to tremendous effort to make sure the cake would be perfect for us. Being celiac myself, her gluten free kitchen gave us great peace of mind. Many thanks Charlie for helping to make our day so special!
What can I say about Willow Cottage Kitchen. It's one of the most wonderful places in Britain. That may sound like an exaggeration, but how many places can you go to where you find the most creatively decorated cakes and really lovely people. The art and effort that goes into these cakes is nothing short of magic and I'm told they do cake decorating classes too. One of the main reasons for my review, is simply how good they are with my allergies. I have 8 out of the top 14 allergies and so eating things like cakes are basically a no go for me, but these wonderful people delivered for me. They showed me how careful they are for gluten free problems as well, taking huge amount of care not to cross contaminate. To top it all off, Charlie and Bob are such lovely people, their hard work and effort mixed with their smiling and joking, is a testament to how fabulous a place Willow's cottage really is. Keep up the fabulous work, I'll be ordering some more cakes very very soon.
